Service Explanations

Service Explanations

Here at Roland Investigations, we offer diverse types of services when it comes to service of process because we understand that circumstances vary from lawsuit to lawsuit. Ensuring that the correct documents are served to the correct person in the right time frame is a very important step taken in initiating a lawsuit against someone. The right documents, the right person and all in the time frame given seems like a lot though when it comes to ensuring that you’re following the rules of civil procedures. That is why Roland Investigations provides the service to do it for you. We understand that the rules of civil procedure can be tricky and hard to know if you’re doing everything right when it comes to serving someone. Here are some of the services we provide.

  1. Standard Service

When a defendant must be served or even a witness must be served the court will give a deadline that they must be served by. This is going to vary from case to case. Sometimes you will have a lot of time and other times you won’t have very much at all. Standard Service is when we serve the papers within 3-5 days. This is when the first attempt is made. Standard Service includes 4 attempts made up until the deadline. If the person that is being served is not able to be found then the court will require that there were a sufficient number of attempts made. Standard service is certainly for those who have a longer deadline date.

  1. Priority Service

Some deadline dates will be much shorter. When this is the case you can use priority service which is when a server will be sent out the same day we received the file. The key with this is that the file must be received by 11 am that day for same day service. This might not work for everyone seeing that you may not be able to file it before 11 am that day but you still have a very short deadline to meet.

  1. Rush Service

When you have the deadline of 24 hours to serve a witness or other persons than we do too. Rush service is where a server will be sent out within 24 hours to attempt service. No matter what deadline you have we have the service to match it and make sure that all papers are served in accordance with the law and within the deadline given by the court.

Roland Investigations provides you with quality service that can’t be matched anywhere else. Whether you need papers served in a week, the same day or within 24 hours we’ve got your back. Each lawsuit is different and so the needs of them will also be different. We work with each case to ensure that all laws and procedures are followed so that your case isn’t compromised in any way.
